Meet the Photographer: 10 interesting things about me!

Sometime's it's nice to meet the person behind the camera, so today's Photo Friday post contains 10 interesting facts about Emma, your photographer!

1. My daughter is my model in a lot of photographs.

I have a little girl (hooray for being two!) who isn't camera shy by any means, but does like to challenge me by ignoring the camera!

2. I love to plan photoshoots!

Getting Pinterest boards and ideas together for photoshoots is actually a lot of fun.

3. I enjoy organizing.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I stay very organized with a planner, a photography notebook and my phone. Both my planner and notebook have bees as a theme!

4. My favorite part of our house is the pool.

I'm super lucky that I live in a sweet little house that we bought before we had our daughter and that it has a pool we recently renovated. Nothing beats laying out in the sun or swimming in the cool water on a warm evening.

5. I'm a registered nurse.

My day job is working as a charge nurse at a dialysis clinic!

6. I play the harp and the piano.

While we don't currently have a piano in our house (no plans to in the future either!) I do own a harp that I play whenever there's time.

7. I have a horse.

I adopted a 14 year old Thoroughbred mare, Gracie, who used to race pretty well in her younger days!

8. I'm a volunteer.

I'm the volunteer webmaster for a horse rescue, www.faithnfriends.org.

9. I occasionally get time to do photomanipulations.

10. I'm from England.

My small family moved to the United States when I was 10 years old, so I no longer have an accent!
