Among the first decision you'll have to make as a couple after saying "yes!" is deciding on where to take engagement photos! Perhaps you have an upcoming family gathering you'd like to commemorate?

Blossom and Bee Photography (#blossomandbeephotography_) offers outdoor sessions for $50, or if you book a wedding package, an engagement session is free! Here are some wonderful choices for session locations around Knoxville and Sevierville:

The Old City

Downtown Knoxville is always a favorite if you’re looking for a more urban feel to your engagement photos. Evening sessions especially will benefit from the wealth of lights in the downtown area, but during the day or afternoon there is an abundance or interesting buildings for backdrops that will make family pictures shine!

Sequoyah Hills Park

If you’re looking for a more nature-inspired location close to downtown, Sequoyah Hills Park is a good option. River views and large trees make for some pretty backdrops on a nice evening.

The Cove at Concord Park

Another option for a lake backdrop, The Cove also offers wooded areas for background, but has the tendency to be crowded on nice evenings.

Melton Hill Park

With the Clinch River as its backdrop, Melton Hill Park is great for a multitude of sessions, including engagements. A variety of backdrop options include wooded areas and river views.

Sevierville

As far as Sevierville goes, basically anything with a view of the Smokey Mountains is going to be amazing. Particular points of interest include: Cades Cove, any of the beautiful waterfalls, Newfound Gap and Clingman’s Dome.

Happily Ever After at the Barn

One of my favorite places to do sessions, Happily Ever After at the Barn is an event venue with a lot to offer, including a beautiful barn, a large house, several small cottages, a life-size chess board, a vintage pickup truck and more! So many spots for some wonderful photos. #happilyeverafteratthebarn
